Our hydraulic and pneumatic ballast control systems have been designed in such a way that safe and efficient shipping operations can be met.All our systems can be used in interaction with the vessel’s cargo management system, but can be delivered as stand-alone system as well. A ballast system typically consists of two components: a touch-screen control panel to operate the system and valves and actuators to control the water flow. Our hydraulic ballast control systems are reliable thanks to the powerful spring return option and its modular design. And reliability is what counts on board an operating vessel!Whereas hydraulic ballast systems are more commonly used on larger vessels, we have designed a space-efficient pneumatic ballast control system for smaller ships. To save valuable space on board, we can optionally mount (pneumatic) actuators inside the ballast tanks instead of the more usual location in the engine room or pump chamber.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_column_text]Submersible actuators need to withstand the pressure in at least 30 m of water.
