[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Logan manufactures Compensated and static Coiled Tubing Lift Frames (CCTLFs and CTLFs), used for offshore motion compensation of the drill/completion string. What is a coiled tubing lift frame? CTLF are used when wireline or coiled tubing operations are required or expected in an offshore well. The CTLF provides a window to install a Coiled Tubing Injector into the load path between the top drive and wellhead. It can also hang wireline, slickline or e-line sheaves, though there are also specific hangers for that equipment. A Compensation unit may be required, which isolates the motion of the vessel from the coiled tubing injector, and bottom hole depth is maintained. This is similar to an in-line compensator. Meeting operational requirements DGI I Logan’s CCTLF is the result of extensive design, engineering and collaboration with end users to come up with a system that meets the operational requirements with a simple yet innovative system. A major influence in the design of the motion compensated coiled tubing lift frame was the emphasis on installation of the system. Since the CCLTF is not permanently installed on the vessel, its design and installation procedures are intended to keep critical path time to an absolute minimum. The design criteria includes installation aids and fixtures as part of the complete system.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
