Foam Tank Skid

Foam tank skid DiFF system is proposed with various skid option based on project requirement. The foam tank skid DiFFS system are configured based on parameters such as type of foam proportioning, isolation valve, foam tank capacity, temperature requirements.

The foam tank skid DiFFS systems are modeled as MF, MS, ML, MY, UMF and UMS Series. The standard foam skid consists of open type base frame fitted with foam concentrate tank, control valve, foam mixing equipment and other accessories.

Standalone Foam System

COMPRESSED AIR FOAM SYSTEMS (CAFS)

The system is custom designed in a common base frame with all equipment packaged. Skid consists of steel pressure vessel, high pressure nitrogen cylinders, foam tank, control valves, regulator panel. The system also consists of an electrical control panel which is used for monitoring and controlling the system from remote locations.

Completely bolted type skid

MF SERIES SKID

The MF Series diffs skid is a completely bolted type skid. The skid frames are manufactured using stainless steel 316 material and painted or powder coated. Fasteners are stainless steel 316 and self-locking type. The skid is suitable for foam tank sizes ranging from 60gallons to 170gallons. The skid is designed for 4-point lifting and is load tested. Additional inductors are supplied for projects with hose reel requirement and the skid can accommodate up to 2 additional hose reel inductors.

A welded type skid

MS SERIES SKID

The MS Series is a welded type skid. The skid frames are manufactured using mild steel square tubes (optional: stainless steel 316). The skid is suitable for foam tank sizes ranging from 200gallons to 650gallons. The skid is designed for 4-point lifting. Skids are load tested.

A totally enclosed skid

ML SERIES SKID

The ML series is a totally enclosed skid which is of the completely welded type. The skid frames are manufactured using mild steel square tubes (optional: stainless steel 316). The skid has been analyzed and designed based on DNVGL-ST-E271 2.7-1. The grade of all the materials including pad eye plate used for the skid are considered as S275J2. The skid is insulated using suitable insulation. The skid is suitable for foam tank sizes ranging from 60gallons to 650gallons. The skid is designed for 4-point lifting and is load tested. These skids are specially built for installations in low temperature climate conditions. Skid is suitable for -4°F (-20°C).

A USCG compliant skid

UMF SERIES SKID

The UMF Series skid is a completely bolted type skid. The skid frames are manufactured using stainless steel 316 material and painted or powder coated. Fasteners are stainless steel 316 and self-locking type. The skid is suitable for foam tank sizes ranging from 60gallons to 170gallons. The skid is designed for 4-point lifting and is load tested. Additional inductors are supplied for hose reel requirement and the skid can accommodate up to 2 additional hose reel inductors. UMF series is a USCG Compliant skid and the listed foam proportioning equipment are used such as FM Approved water motor turbine or UL listed foam inductors. These skids are available with only AFFF-3%, US Mil-Spec Foam Concentrate type. (USCG Certification under progress)

A totally enclosed skid

BLADDER TANK

The Foam Bladder tank is supplied for projects with bladder tank requirement, the bladder tanks are manufactured in accordance with ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 and are internally coal tar epoxy coated and Red enamel coated for exterior of the skid. Tank is provided with level gauge; hydraulic operated foam concentrate valves. All fasteners and isolation valves are SS-316. UL listed ratio controllers are used for DIFF and hose reel station connection. Third party certification such as ABS, DNVGL or any other classification society based on project requirement.
